I created two cards to share with you today using all the product in this kit! One was colored and dry embossed, and the other was ink blended with a stencil over the embossing folder. Here’s my first card.
I heat embossed the flower outline from the Feathered Lilies stamp onto a 5.5×4.25 sized cardstock using rose gold embossing powder. I offset the flower on the left side of the page. Next I colored the flowers and leaves with Artist Markers. This flower is big and bold, great for coloring! You can really get into the details with a flower such as this one!
Next I dry embossed the outline using the coordinating die. This technique adds an element of detail that is simply wonderful! Final step was to add one of the amazing sentiments from this stamp set! There are so many awesome sentiments that it was hard to choose one!
Card #2 was done using the embossing folder and stencil from this lovely set! I changed the colors up too, with some bright pinks and greens!
First I dry embossed the floral image onto a white card base the was trimmed down. Next I ink blended the stencil layers to create a lovely dimension of color! I used the mini and detailed blending brushes to ensure that I only blended where it was needed. These brushes are the bomb for detail work!
Next, I added a sentiment and adhered the finished piece overa black layer that was slightly larger than the white layer. The black layer really helps the focal point pop! Then I adhered both onto a white card base sized 5.5×4.25.
